Analysis paralysis

Just pick
Goddammit
Pick
Ditch
The analysis paralysis—
No comparison
No risks-benefits
No pro-con list
Just pick

You can choose
To follow
What deeply
Makes you tick
What makes your eyes lit
Up
If you are not sure
If it is
Give it a shot
Pick
Commit
Try it out
And see if it fits

I want this as a daily reminder to myself. It does not need to make sense. “I am curious about this person, activity or project and therefore I am going to try it” is a good enough reason to try something.

I can get so in my head trying to weigh all the pros and cons and future risks, but most decisions don’t deserve that. Most decisions are not risky at all. But by over-analysing them all, you kill the spontaneity in your entire life.
